The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a great site for students as it provides free journals and articles.The site is similar to Emerald which provides books and journals, however Emearld only show a perview of journals and charges a fee if users which to view the full article.
DOAJ is great for
students if they want to research a topic with out having to pay to view the
article or journal.Many times students will be given a Continuous Assessment in
which they will have to carry out research into a company, industry sector or a
subject topic for example.DOAJ provides a quick, easy and cost free method for
students to carry out research or to simply read up on an area in which they
are unsure of.
